We have recently purchased a new Metcal soldering station capable of performing BGA rework of various sizes (from BGA to uBGA).
To ensure optimal soldering, we use a modern BGA temperature profiling system that allows us to fully control the rework soldering process.
Afterward, using our X-ray inspection system, we can verify the correct soldering of the BGA, check for any voids, and ensure proper component coplanarity.
