During the year, we acquired (and learned to fully utilize) a new X-ray machine.
We have purchased an X-ray machine from Scienscope; a well-known American manufacturer of X-ray machines.
We have acquired an Xscope 1800, a machine capable of performing X-ray inspection in
manual or automatic mode.
This machine has many unique features; primarily, the presence of a fixed plate that allows us to inspect multiple boards (even of different types) at once.
The software provided with the X-ray machine allows us to apply real-time macros to highlight potential issues.
In automatic mode, the machine can apply macros and create an inspection report without requiring the operator to personally inspect the component.
With this machine in our equipment lineup, Prime is making significant progress in improving the quality of our electronic board assembly service.
And… that’s not all; We are already considering acquiring the superior model of this X-ray machine to enhance our inspection capabilities.
