The God Particle and Prime Electronics Continue to Make Headlines.

In the periodical of the Rural and Artisan Bank of Brendola (Cooperative Credit) titled “Between Berici and Lessini”, the combination of Prime and the God Particle is once again making waves in the region. In the May 2013 issue, the magazine dedicated several pages to our company’s work related to our latest international victory, or better said, given these events, worldwide achievement.
Prime has won a contract, issued by CERN in Geneva, which involved ten European companies. Among these ten competitors, CERN chose our company, and all Prime group members are proud and satisfied because this victory rewards the commitment and dedication of our entire team. Additionally, all collaborators are very proud to participate, even if indirectly, in the project that led to the discovery of the Higgs Boson and thus connected Prime and the God Particle.

1) The Higgs Boson:
The identification of the Higgs boson would help understand how matter formed in the first moments of the Universe’s existence, giving us fundamental insights into the origin of the Cosmos. This particle, first hypothesized over 40 years ago, represents the key to explaining how other particles can obtain mass. It was discovered through two experiments conducted in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Geneva: the first, Atlas, coordinated by Italian Fabiola Gianotti from the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), whose role in the discovery included her among Time magazine’s cover candidates, and the other, CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid), currently led by American Joe Incandela. This ambitious project involves 38 member states representing 183 scientific institutes with approximately 3,800 researchers involved. At CERN in Geneva, the Higgs Boson was identified, explaining why all things in the universe have mass. It was theorized 48 years ago by English scientist Peter Higgs, now 84 years old. “The Higgs boson, the famous ‘God particle’, exists and has finally been captured without any doubt in CERN’s LHC superaccelerator in Geneva,” explained Rolf Heuer, CERN’s director.
2) The Discovery:
After fifty years, Milanese Fabiola Gianotti and American Joe Incandela, spokespersons for their respective experiments, presented their conclusions to CERN’s scientific community regarding the final phase of investigations that began in December 2011 when, also at CERN, they had presented the first evidence of the fateful particle’s existence.
