This article is part of a series of documents aimed at providing information to all Prime customers regarding the CAD files supported by our ICT (In-circuit Test) system.
Prime is equipped with the SEICA PILOT VIP L4 flying probe test system.
To create a complete test program with this system, 2 files are required: the board CAD file and the BOM (Bill of Materials).
The BOM is simply a text file containing component information (component name, value, component type, test tolerances, etc.). This file is generated by Prime when the customer sends the technical documentation.
The electronic board CAD files supported by our test system can be of various types.
Prime recommends generating an ODB++ CAD file.
This CAD file incorporates all the information necessary for printed circuit board production, from electronic board assembly to electrical testing.
If you are unable “to generate an ODB++ CAD file, you” can use the formats listed in the table below.

If you are unable to generate these files, “other format types can be used. However, these formats” require additional processing by our technicians. We recommend contacting our testing department for more information.
