{"id":7312,"date":"2006-04-14T14:44:19","date_gmt":"2006-04-14T12:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.primelettronica.com\/electronic-board-assembly-compliant-with-rohs-standards\/"},"modified":"2006-04-14T14:44:19","modified_gmt":"2006-04-14T12:44:19","slug":"electronic-board-assembly-compliant-with-rohs-standards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.primelettronica.com\/en\/electronic-board-assembly-compliant-with-rohs-standards\/","title":{"rendered":"Electronic Board Assembly Compliant with RoHS Standards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\">We are proud to announce that <strong>since April 2006, we have started producing entire production batches (SMT and PTH) in compliance with EU RoHS regulations<\/strong>, which will come into effect on July 1, 2006.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We believe that the results achieved are \u201ccertainly satisfactory, also due to our attention to detail from\u201d component sourcing, through \u201cstorage, incoming inspection,\u201d \u201cassembly, and finally\u201d packaging and shipping.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We can say that we have completed \u201cthe transition process that we began about a year ago following the release of the EU Regulation limiting the\u201d use of 6 hazardous substances, which we have carried out in close contact with our suppliers and partners. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, on every Printed Circuit Board we assemble, we are already applying our standard Prime Production Lot label with the integrated PB-free symbol, as required by regulations and now widely recognized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are available to provide further explanations and details regarding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">the new solder pastes and\/or wire\/bar alloys we are using for SMT and PTH component soldering;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>the process innovations we have implemented;<\/li>\n<li>the limitations and issues that still persist;<\/li>\n<li>the opportunities that our customers can take advantage of through our selective soldering machine and optical inspection equipment, now fully operational for the new processes.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are proud to announce that since April 2006, we have started producing entire production batches (SMT and PTH) in compliance with EU RoHS regulations, which will come into effect on July 1, 2006.
